D1 Kota Kinabalu
Meet at Kota Kinabalu International Airport and transfer to Budget Hotel for overnight stay. Check into the accommodation and free at own leisure.
D2 Kota Kinabalu / Kinabalu Park
Depart hotel and transfer an overland for 1 1/2 hours journey to Kinabalu Park. Enroute, stop at Pekan Nabalu for own shopping to shop the Sabah local products. Arriving at Kinabalu Park, follow the Park Naturalist to observe and experince one of the trails and visit the Mt. Garden. Later, check into Twin Bed Cabin and free at own leisure.
D3 Kinabalu Park / Mt. Kinabalu
Check out and walk to Park Headquaters for a bus transfer to Timpohon Gate (Starting Point) and start climbing. The trek will takes approximately 4 - 5 hours to reach at the Mt. Hut. Check into the hut and free at own leisure. Overnight at Laban Rata Resthouse OR similar.
D4 Mt. Kinabalu / Kinabalu Park
0300 hours. Final ascent to the summit of Mt. Kinabalu to witness the magnificent of sunrise at 0600 hours and descend back to the resthouse for check out. Trek back to Park Headquaters and transfer to Poring Hot Spring for 45 minutes driving. Arriving at Poring, check into the Poring Cabin and free at own leisure to soak in sulphur heated and cool spring water.
D5 Poring Hot Spring
Free at own leisure to visit the treetop Canopy Walkway, Butterfly Farm or Tropical Garden. Overnight at Poring Cabin.
D6 Poring Hot Spring / Sandakan
Check out and proceed an overland to Sandakan for 3 hours journey. Arriving at Sandakan, transfer to Sepilok Jungle Lodge for overnight stay and Free at own leisure.
D7 Sepilok Jungle Resort
Free at own leisure or take a 15 minutes walk to visit the Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary. Overnight at Sepilok Jungle Lodge. [B]
D8 Sandakan / Sukau Kinabatangan Village
Check out and proceed 2 hours journey to Sukau Village. Enroute, stop at Gomantong Caves and explore the caves. Arriving at Sukau Village, take a boat transfer to Sukau Proboscis Lodge for the night stay. Check into the lodge and lunch. At 1600 hours, take a boat cruise along the Menanggul River to search the Proboscis Monkeys and others wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and free at own leisure. [B/L/D]
D9 Ox-Bow Lake / Lahad Datu
Early morning, take a boat cruise for Ox-bow Lake to see more wildlife. Later, return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Lahad Datu for 1 1/2 hours journey. Arriving at Lahad Datu, check into the Budget Hotel and free at own leisure. [B]
D10 Lahad Datu / Borneo Rainforest Lodge
Meet at hotel lobby and transfer to Danum Valley. Arriving at Danum, check into the Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Orientation and lunch at the lodge. Later, guided nature trail and visit the Canopy Walkway. Return to the lodge for dinner and watch the Slide Show or Night Drive. [L/D]
D11 Borneo Rainforest Lodge
After breakfast. Guided jungle walk to ancient Kadazandusun Burial site and Natural Jacuzzi Pool. Lunch and guided jungle walk to riverside trails. Dinner at the lodge. After dinner, take a night walk. [B/L/D]
D12 Borneo Rainforest Lodge / Kota Kinabalu
Early morning. Birdwatching on Canopy Walkway. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, jungle walk at leisure. Lunch at the lodge before transferring to airport for departure flight to Kota Kinabalu. Arriving at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, meet and transfer to Budget Hotel for overnight stay and free at own leisure. [B/L]
D13 Kota Kinabalu
Free at own leisure. Overnight at Budget Hotel.
